Section 01
Who can use Stellenzu
You need to be at least 16 years old to create a Stellenzu account. If you're creating an employer account, you also need to be authorised to act on behalf of the company or organisation you're representing.
One person, one account. Please don't create multiple accounts to get around a free-tier limit or a ban — that's grounds for us to remove all your accounts.
Section 02
Your account and your responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Keeping your login credentials confidential. If you signed up with email + password, choose a strong password and don't share it. If you signed up with an OAuth provider, keep that account secure.
- The accuracy of what you enter — your resume, job preferences, and profile details.
- All activity that happens under your account, whether or not you were the one clicking.
- Notifying us at [email protected] if you believe your account has been compromised.
Section 03
How Assisted Apply works
Assisted Apply is a guided flow that helps you submit job applications faster. It does not, and cannot, guarantee that any application will lead to an interview or an offer.
What it does
- Ranks each open listing by how well your Stellenzu profile matches the job description.
- Walks you through review, resume tailoring, and profile checks in three steps.
- Redirects you to the employer's own application page to complete and submit the application there.
- Records the application in your Dashboard so you can track its status yourself.
What it does not do
- It does not submit the application on your behalf without your action.
- It does not automatically apply to jobs, mass-apply, or auto-fill forms in a way that circumvents an employer's application process.
- It does not communicate with the employer as if it were you — any messages sent are messages you compose and send yourself.
Employment outcomes
Whether you get an interview, offer, or hire depends on the employer, not on us. We build tools to help you present yourself well; we do not promise a particular outcome and we are not a recruiter or employment agency.
Section 04
AI-assisted features
The Resume Builder's tailoring and scoring, cover letter drafts, and Career Guidance chat are all powered by AI models. Every output is a suggestion. You are responsible for reviewing it before you rely on it, share it, or send it to an employer.
Please read our AI Disclaimer for the details. In short: AI can make mistakes, invent facts, or produce advice that's wrong for your situation. Treat it like a knowledgeable colleague giving you a first draft — not a professional recommendation.
Section 05
Free tier and paid subscriptions
Stellenzu has a free tier that includes a base level of AI usage per day (currently two resume generations per day, subject to change). Paid subscriptions raise those limits and unlock premium features.
Billing
- Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually, in advance, on the date you subscribe.
- Prices are shown in the currency displayed at checkout. Taxes may be added depending on your location.
- Subscriptions renew automatically. You can cancel from your profile page at any time.
- Cancellation stops the next renewal but does not refund the current period, unless our Refund Policy applies.

Section 06
Acceptable use
You agree not to use Stellenzu to:
- Upload a resume that isn't yours without the person's consent.
- Submit intentionally false information to an employer through Assisted Apply.
- Spam employers or send messages that don't relate to a real application.
- Scrape, hammer, or otherwise abuse our APIs or the third-party job feeds we rely on.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the AI prompts, models, or training data behind our features.
- Post any content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, or infringes anyone's intellectual property or privacy.
- Use the product to build a competing service, dataset, or AI model.
Repeated or serious violations may result in your account being suspended or closed without a refund.
Section 07
Employer accounts
If you have an employer account, you additionally agree that any job posting or communication sent through Stellenzu:
- Describes a real role at your company or a client company you're authorised to recruit for.
- Complies with employment and anti-discrimination laws in the country the role is based in.
- Does not require the candidate to pay you or a third party as part of the application process.
- Only uses candidate information for legitimate recruitment purposes, and not for marketing or resale.
Section 08
Intellectual property
Your content
You keep the copyright to your resumes, cover letters, chat prompts, and any other content you create or upload. By using Stellenzu you grant us a limited licence to store, display, and process that content solely to provide the service to you (for example: rendering your resume in the builder, sending an excerpt to our AI provider so we can tailor it, or letting an employer see it when you apply for a job).
Our content
The Stellenzu software, brand, illustrations, editorial content (including the Career Advice articles), and design system are ours. You're welcome to use the product as intended; you may not clone the design, copy our editorial articles, or use our name or logo in ways that suggest we're endorsing you.
Third-party content
Job listings shown in the product come from third-party sources like Google Jobs (via SerpAPI) and Adzuna. That content is owned by the respective sources or employers — we display it under their terms and do not claim ownership.
Section 09
No warranty
Stellenzu is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do our best to keep the service running, accurate, and useful, but we don't promise it will always be available, error-free, or fit for a specific purpose.
Specifically, and to the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty arising from a course of dealing or trade practice.
Section 10
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stellenzu is not liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the service.
- Loss of profits, revenue, business, or expected employment opportunities.
- Any decision an employer, recruiter, or third party makes based on content you shared through Stellenzu.
- Any content that AI features generate — see our AI Disclaimer for what you should verify.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability to you in any twelve-month period will not exceed the amount you paid us for the service during that period, or ₹5,000 (or the equivalent in your local currency), whichever is greater.
Section 11
Suspension and termination
You can close your account at any time from your profile page. When you do, we will delete your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or close your account if you materially breach these terms, if we reasonably suspect fraud or abuse, or if we're required to by law. Where possible, we'll try to notify you first. Prepaid subscription fees for the remainder of the current period may be forfeited if the suspension is due to a breach of these terms.
Section 12
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with them will be resolved in the competent courts located in Kerala, India, unless the law where you live requires a different forum. Nothing in these terms limits any statutory consumer rights you may have.
Section 13
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, we'll notify you inside the product or by email before the change takes effect. Continuing to use Stellenzu after that date means you accept the updated terms.
